I love the grittiness of the cities, I have to say, getting away from the shiny new CBDs and seeing what life is really like for most of the migrants and long-time citizens of places like Wuhan, Shanghai, Chongqing, Beijing.... endless variety but all speaks to the human condition and our commonalities in eloquent and profound ways. Plus great cheap street food!

I like the street photography you've put on the site (on the blog mostly) and hope to see more from the streets, even if it's not part of anybody's five star itinerary!

That said, it's good to be able to haul off to Yunnan or Sichuan and get up into some mountains and relatively unspoilt nature.

Xiamen is one of my all time faves too. It has such a laid back vibe and if you go to the beaches away from the city they are pretty decent. You can even go kitesurfing and sailing there!

My favorite destinations is New york city. the hotel was originally an apartment building. It is located 64th Street of the Upper West Side of the city of Manhattan. Being a former apartment building, the hotel offers an experience of the distinct life of New York. Local attractions include Lincoln Center, Columbus Circle and the Central Park.
