Hi all,

Im taking some friends into China for a week and we're looking for independant adventure without tour guides etc.  We came up with the idea to get our own raft and travel down the Three Gorges and maybe onwards.  One thing we found was that it's nearly impossible to find out any information on the river apart from excursions, tours, etc..Could you please help? Do you know if we would be allowed to do that? Travel down the river and set camp in the wilderness?
