Well, training continues for the Great Wall Half Marathon. Wohoo, I am up to three laps around the park now (12km)!  And we also did stair training on Saturday by running up and down the stairs of the park's amphitheater until our knee-caps felt like cracking...

Every Saturday morning at 11am, our running group meets up for two or three laps (each lap is 4-5 km) around Shanghai's Century Park.  This Easter weekend, we ended up having an impromptu picnic after our morning run and ended up staying in the park all day, inviting friends to join and they hooked us up with snacks and drinks. We even took out one of the park's motorboats and went joy riding. Keep in mind the motorboats go very slow, however, we had a laugh and very much enjoyed it.

Fishing in Century Park...we were wondering what kind of fish one might catch...

An impromptu picnic after the Saturday run...

Being a sunny day, an army of brides were out in full force, looking for the perfect place to get their perfect photo taken...

Cruising around Century Park, James Bond-style in our private yacht (yours for 30 RMB an hour). Awesome.

Boat clears the bridge...

The boats go soooo slow that your 10 year-old kid can drive them. As a family activity this is not a bad one, kids love getting to feel like the captain.

Under the bridge where the trolls live....

The name 's Bond, James Bond....
