So my girlfriend and I are about to celebrate our third anniversary, and I'd like to take her somewhere nice and luxurious, so I'm thinking about throwing down some loot to spend a weekend at a top-rated hotel in Hong Kong.

I've decided to go all out, so it's either The Peninsula Hong Kong on Kowloon or the Mandarin Oriental Hong Kong on Hong Kong Island, but I'm not sure which is better.

Has anyone ever stayed at either hotel? and can someone help guide me towards the right decision?

I'm sure bother are really nice, I just want to know which is better value, and I don't mean price but service.
