News of the US getting it together enough to make a real go at a decent showing for Shanghai Expo 2010 has been accompanied by Expo mascot Haibao coming out as a dashingly disco-worthy campy cowboy.

And, at least in this outfit, the question of the previously androgynous little blue wave's gender very much appears to have been answered. Haibao's sporting quite a package!

Yeeeeeehaw! No wonder "Haibao is happier now!"

So all we need a Haibao indian chief, construction worker, biker, cop....

"Young man, I was once in your shoes.
I said, I was down and out with the blues
I felt no man cared if I were alive.
I felt the whole world was so tight ..."

Y M C A !

He looks like a Civil War Union soldier. Is this some kind of favoritism? As a Southerner, I feel slighted. Shouldn't China stay out of American internal affairs? My feelings are hurt. The South will rise again, y'all, and kick that carpetbagging Gumby ripoff's butt!
