Photo of the Day: Chongqing - Where Two Rivers Meet

A bird's eye view of downtown Chongqing at the meeting point of two rivers: the left one is the Yangzte which is the largest in China and the right one is Jialing which is a branch of the Yangtze.  Chongqing is located in southwest China. It was the war-time capital of China during World War II, but now just a big, modern city. Thanks to Legend Kung for the photo.

That's some pretty contrasting color of water. Don't think I have seen anything like that before.

chongqing street food is great.
cellphones are cheap.
people are friendly.
nothing else to say about it. glad to get out of there and go somewhere else.
