How to use Taobao, China's online shopping portal

Just found this crazy good resource for all of you who want to be able to shop for the best stuff in China without the hassle of crowded markets, pesky salespeople and the annoying haggling process. Taobao.com is China's answer to Amazon.com and has an incredible amount of stuff on offer. Problem is, it's all in Chinese. Though it sounds daunting and frought with Chinese bad service pitfalls, the Taobao Field Guide is here to help. It's really a simple process:

 

Sign Up for a Taobao Account

Signing up requires only an email address and takes less than a minute.

Go to the Post Office to Buy a Recharge Card

It’s just like buying a recharge card for your mobile phone.

Enter Recharge Numbers Online

This will add money to your Taobao account.

 

Check it out by clicking here!

 

Sorry if this seems like a commercial post, I don't work for Taobao, obviously, but it is just so much better using this to curtail the hassle of the markets, I had to put it up! Hope you all find it as handy as I do!

Taobao.com, China's largest online retail portal it is really easy to use..Taobao earlier this month expanded its travel business to sell international airline tickets, in a move to take on online travel companies such as Ctrip.com International Ltd.

here i recommend you a really fantastic taobao buying agent: www.taobaomaster.com. i was impressed with their excellent service the first time i tried buying from taobao last year. of course, in the following year, i purchased from taobao many times with their assistance. staff there are patient and always can give me good buying suggestions, because one annoying thing is taobao is not available in English, however, thanks to taobaomaster, it's not a big problem. i'm sure you will love taobao too!
