Queensland is a part of Australia's significant presence at the Shanghai World Expo 2010. 

From 1 May to 31 October 2010, the Australian National Pavilion will showcase Australian innovation, creativity and achievement to some seven million visitors. The pavilion and its programs will reflect the expo theme- 'Better City, Better Life'.

The Queensland Government is in the process of strengthening its relationship with China. As a goal, these two countries are looking to increase the partnership between business and assist people into having greater cultural and economic benefits.

At Expo, Queensland is summarizing its capabilities around innovation, science, and technology.  Meanwhile, it is also showcasing culture,creative industries, tourism, environmental capabilities and highlighting the region's education and training strengths.
