The Xiangjiang Hotel (also know as the Hong Kong Hotel) is Guilin's only cylindrical building, conspicuously located a bit outside the city center to the north. Like all good tall, round buildings, the Xiangjiang has a revolving restaurant up top, offering panoramic views of Guilin's karst outcrops and cityscape. This is probably the hotel's most stand-out feature, but everything else about it is solidly three-star, with rather small, but clean rooms and a variety of amenities.
