The Twenty First Century Hotel (Ershiyi Shiji Fandian), the product of a Japanese-Chinese joint venture, is located about 10 kilometers northeast of the city center. The hotel, while not in close proximity to local sights, is in a perfect location for those seeking a Beijing blues experience; The Sanlitun bar area is just down the road.

This futuristic, spacious hotel has 365 standard rooms and ten suites, all equipped with air-conditioning, international direct dial telephones and minibars. The seamlessly blends services and functions with various meeting halls, a grand theater and a huge International Conference Hall, with more than 400 seats and a multilingual translation system. There is also a vocational training complex here offering courses on more than 20 subjects from computer training to Japanese flower arrangement (Ikabana) and tea ceremony (Tayado). There is also a six court tennis center and a 50-meter indoor pool.

Guests looking to dine at this Beijing hotel can take advantage of the five restaurants serving Chinese, Western and Japanese foods.
