The Shenzhen Gold Hotel (Shenzhen Fulihua Dajiudian) is more of a businessperson's hotel, located in a tall building downtown. It's close to shopping, but not terribly convenient to other Shenzhen sights. The staff may or may not speak English and the food may or may not cater to Western tastes—depends on who you ask and what your standards are.
