The Shanghai Oriental Land Hotel (Shanghai Luzhou Binguan) is a four-star hotel situated on the north shore of Dian Shan Lake (the city's only freshwater lake) in Shanghai's western Qingpu District, not far from the ancient canal town Zhujiajiao. Featuring European courtyard-style architecture, the hotel's villas are situated among some really nice landscaping.
Ten restaurants serve mainly Shanghainese cuisine, either a la carte or buffet-style, and the hotel is equipped with a convenience store and business center. A nice change of pace from city-center hotels and a good base for exploring or doing business in the west of the city.
