The Dahu Hotel (Dahu fandian), built in 1926 and is located only a few minutes' walk from the Bund, Shanghai's Old City and Yu Gardens. It's rooms are basic, offering good value for travelers and backpackers on tight budgets. Chinese and Western food is available on the premises, as is a ticket reservation center and meeting room. Good and cheap street food and small local restaurants are also within easy walking distance.
