The Wangfu Hotel is a nice presentation of traditional Naxi culture—not only expressed in the architecture as with many hotels located in Old Town, but also the décor and overall spirit of the place. Staff is friendly and helpful, and while there are numerous complaints about the bathrooms, complimentary breakfast, fruit baskets and warm milk at night just may be enough to make up for having to use a plunger.
