The Bao'an Hotel (Bao'an dajiudian), located near Pudong's shiny new Lujiazui Trade & Financial Area, is convenient to the metro and and well served by taxis. It's an excellent businiess hotel, though most tourists will likely want to find accommodations on the Puxi side of the Huangpu River, nearer Shanghai's historical sights and attractions. Still, it's only about 15 minutes via metro to the Nanjing Dong Lu, which is convenient both to the Bund and the neon and Nanjing Road, and you're that much closer to Pudong International Airport (about half an hour by taxi).
