Winding up the southeastern slope of Zijin Shan, the Zijin Shan plank way (rénxíng zhàndào, 人行栈道) is a relaxing walk through the forests of Zijin Shan. Away from the heat-trapping city, the shaded walkway is also a break from Nanjing's "furnace-like" heat.
The entrance on Taiping Men Lu is easy to miss if you're looking from the back of a cab, but not too hard to spot on foot.
