West Island, also known as Hawksbill Island, is located in Sanya Bay National Nature Reserve. It covers the area of 2.8 square kilometers with more than 3,000 residents who make a living by fishing. As the island is far from city so the air and sea water pollution is well controlled here. Lots of beautiful corals and fishes live in the territory surrounding the island, comprising a huge tropical ocean eco circle. The West Island Sea World takes full advantage of the island and collects all kinds of water recreation activities.
