Tianhou Temple   (Qingdao)

The Tianhou Temple (Tiānhòu Gōng, 天后宮) is dedicated to Tianhou, the Taoist goddess of the sea and important protector of seaside places like Qingdao. Built in the 15th century, it is one of very few remaining structures from pre-German Qingdao. Today it houses a lovely statue of the goddess and a few others as well as the Qingdao Cultural Museum's miniscule collection. 

 

 
Admission:8 RMB  Hours:8:30am - 6:00pm  How to get there:The temple is located at 19 Taiping Lu (Tàipíng lù, 太平路)and accessed by many public buses.
