Opened in 1999 in conjunction with the State Administration of Cultural Heritage of China and Beijing Cultural Relics Bureau, the Poly Art Museum is the first state-owned museum, famous for its bronze displays.
The Poly Group, owners of the museum, is also the driving force behind a movement to rescue national Chinese relics from abroad and restore them to glory, an effort that has seen more than 40 stone and bronze sculptures and carvings return to China.
