Located in the depths of Shanghai's Yangpu District, Live Bar is a converted cigarette warehouse that regularly hosts live music.

The venue, while consistent (shows are usually Thursday through Saturday), has several drawbacks, the main one being a lack of decent sound equipment, the other being its location which is seriously distant from downtown Shanghai.

Still, this venue serves cheap drinks (Tsingtao bottles sell for RMB 10) and at least dares to offer some outlet for local musicians and out of town bands passing through Shanghai.
