Hong Shan Park   (Wuhan)
0 /0  Users recommend

Hong Shan Park was originally built in 1950s. There are lots of cultural relics inside the park and the natural landscape is also impressive. Many trees are planted in it.

With Baotong temple to its east, you can hear the bells ringing at dawn and dusk. The prosperous commercial street of Wuchang District-Zhongnan Lu is located to its west, and a large area of living quarters is to its south across Wuluo Lu. Hong Shan Mountain to its north is a good place for people to be close to nature and have a rest. Therefore this is a relatively quiet place hidden in the busy city.

Wuying Pagoda built in Song Dynasty still stands inside the park. Ruins of the former residence of a famous calligrapher Li Beihai in Tang Dynasty are also here. The grave of the martyr named Shiyang is the representative structure in the park.
