Established in 1999, Harbin Ice and Snow World (Hā'ěrbīn Bīngxuě Shìjiè, 哈尔滨冰雪世界) has become the main attraction at the annual Harbin International Ice and Snow Festival. The largest ice sculpture exhibition site in the world, its streets are lined with massive ice castles and recreations of world monuments each year from December through January when the festival officially opens and ending in February.

Horse drawn carriages drive past strolling tourists along lanes lined with recreations of famous Chinese temples and pagodas and classic cathedrals and buildings from Europe. At night LED screens and neon lights embedded in the ice architecture transform the park into an electric winter wonderland.

From 9:30am-1:30pm adults pay RMB 100 while children (120-140 cm or 47-55 in) get in for RMB 60. From 1:30pm-9pm, adults pay RMB 300 and children get in for RMB 160. Between January 1-3 and January 22-28, the price for adults goes up to RMB 330.
