D-22 is the epicenter of the burgeoning Beijing rock scene. Located in Beijing's Wudaokou area of the Haidian District, D-22 has, in its nearly three years of existence, received international acclaim and attention for cultivating a new generation of Chinese rock and alternative musicians and regularly hosting top-level bands. Offering live music five or six nights a week, D-22 is a dive bar in essence and appearance, but there is nothing shabby about the talent that regularly graces the stage.
